Fire Prevention

We help ensure the safe operation of buildings and compliance with all legal obligations in the field of fire protection. We provide documentation, inspections, and regular preventive checks. Our goal is to eliminate risks before they arise.

Fire Protection Documentation

Legal Basis for Safe Operation

Fire protection documentation forms the basic system for fire prevention in every building and operation. It is not only an administrative obligation, but a set of specific organisational and technical measures aimed at protecting life, health, employees, and the operator’s property. Every legal entity and self-employed person is required to comply with the obligations set out in particular by Act No. 133/1985 Coll. and Decree No. 246/2001 Coll. The scope of documentation depends on the level of fire risk of the activity, the nature of the building, and the number of persons present. UNFIRE.cz provides complete preparation of fire protection documentation, including regular updates and professional consultancy.

Classification of Activities and Obligations

The first step is the correct classification of the operated activity according to the level of fire risk. This includes assessing the type of operation, quantity of combustible materials, number of persons, technological processes, and the structural design of the building. The result is a professional classification that determines the scope of further obligations and related documentation.

Fire Regulations and Fire Alarm Instructions

Part of the documentation includes fire regulations that define the rules for safe operation, the handling of combustible materials, and employee responsibilities. An integral part also includes fire alarm instructions that specify the exact procedure in the event of fire, including alarm activation, evacuation, and calling for assistance.

Evacuation Plan and Building Signage

The evacuation plan ensures the organised and safe evacuation of persons from the building. It includes both textual and graphical sections with escape routes, fire extinguishers, hydrants, and assembly points clearly marked. We also ensure proper marking of escape routes, utility shut-off points, and other important building elements.

Training and Documentation Updates

The fire protection system also includes regular employee training and the maintenance of inspection records. Documentation must always reflect the current condition of the building, which is why we ensure regular updates whenever there are changes in operation, layout, or technology.

Preventive Fire Inspections

Systematic Risk Control

Preventive fire inspections are one of the most important tools of fire prevention. Their purpose is not only to fulfil legal obligations, but above all to identify risks that may lead to fire or worsen its consequences. Every building changes over time — modifications to layout, technology, and operation may occur, as well as structural changes. These changes may cause the actual state of the building to no longer correspond to the original documentation or legal requirements. UNFIRE.cz carries out regular and extraordinary preventive fire inspections in accordance primarily with Act No. 133/1985 Coll. and Decree No. 246/2001 Coll.

Inspection of Escape Routes and Equipment

The inspection includes checking the accessibility of escape routes, the openness of exits, proper signage, and the functionality of doors and emergency lighting. At the same time, we verify the placement and condition of fire extinguishers, hydrants, and other fire safety devices.

Electrical Installation and Storage Inspection

We also focus on electrical installations, overloaded sockets, unsuitable extension cables, and the storage of materials near heat sources. An important part is also checking the storage of combustible materials and assessing compliance with safety limits.

Report and Recommended Measures

After the inspection, the client receives a clear report listing identified defects, their classification according to severity, and proposed specific corrective actions. The aim is to help effectively eliminate risks and improve the safety of the building and the people inside.

Inspection of Fire Safety Systems

Professional Functional Inspection of Systems

Fire safety systems form an essential part of the protection of every building. Their purpose is to limit the spread of fire, enable safe evacuation, provide conditions for emergency response units, and minimise property damage. However, the mere presence of these systems is not enough. To perform their function, they must be regularly inspected, maintained, and operated in accordance with legal regulations, manufacturer requirements, and the approved Fire Safety Design.

What We Focus On

We carry out professional inspections and checks of portable fire extinguishers, internal hydrant points, fire closures of openings, fire penetrations, fire-resistant coatings, and other selected fire safety systems depending on the specific building and operation.

Why Regular Inspections Are Important

Fire safety systems often remain unused for long periods, and their actual condition only becomes apparent in emergency situations. At that moment, they must function flawlessly. In practice, we most often encounter mechanical damage, covering of systems, missing markings, or improper interventions in structures. Regular inspections help identify and remove these risks in time.

Scope of Our Services

We primarily inspect the placement, accessibility, and technical condition of fire extinguishers, hydrants, fire doors, windows, penetrations, and fire-resistant coatings. This also includes assessment of operational readiness, compliance with project documentation, and verification of the fire resistance of individual elements.

How the Inspection Is Carried Out

We proceed systematically and with emphasis on the actual condition of the building. First, we familiarise ourselves with the documentation and identify the installed systems, followed by physical inspection of the individual elements, technical assessment, and preparation of a clear final report including identified defects and recommended corrective measures.

Coordination Functional Tests

In modern buildings, the correct interaction of individual fire safety systems is essential. We carry out coordination functional tests, where we verify that the individual systems properly follow one another and respond in the correct sequence during fire situations.

When the Tests Are Important

These tests are particularly important during commissioning, after reconstruction, after interventions in fire safety systems, or after changes in technology and building use.

What the Client Receives

The client receives a professional inspection of systems within the required scope, a clear report on their actual condition, identification of defects, and proposals for recommended corrective measures. The output also includes verification of the functional links between individual systems and a basis for safe building operation.
